  • Coronavirus Isolation

The time of the Coronavirus isolation is upon us. We find ourselves with increased anxiety over fear of catching the virus, losing jobs, and a fear of the unknown. Households are getting irritable because all of a sudden we are spending all of our time together and this is quite new. Outdoor activities are encouraged as long as social distancing is practiced so as usual I am fishing.

Something is missing ! i am really enjoying learning more and challenging myself to catch fish under tough conditions and exploring new areas even though I know fish could be caught at known locations. My clients are gone for now because of a nasty virus that is spreading fear and death. I pray for friends and family. I really hope all my work building a business which is my life and my passion is not endangered.

The stripers in these pics are from March of 2020. Yes 2020 . I caught 11 so far. I really enjoyed the addictive thump and the fight that followed. The missing part is the Joy on a clients face, the facial reaction on a hookset, and the satisfaction I get when my hard work paid off. My life is better knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. I am thankful for a great following and hope this nasty virus and the government restrictions all disappear shortly with minimal lives lost.

The state has shut all fishing guides down temporarily. I am still taking reservations for May and forward. No deposit required. Any trips that are scheduled can be moved out farther on my calendar if restrictions remain in effect .Stay healthy my friends!
